Event Description

Title
Breaking Down HR Law for Small Nonprofit Employers

Presenter
Christine Frazer, HR Strategist, Christine Frazer HR Strategist

This course breaks down HR laws into understandable and actionable items as it relates to nonprofit employers.  The law is there to help, but it won’t if we’re afraid to learn.  This hour will be all about asking and answering all those questions you’ve been too afraid to ask.  FYI, “I didn’t know” isn’t a legal defense.  Let’s take the mystery out of HR law. This course is perfect for employers with 1-25 employees.

Participants will be able to:

  • Feel more confident about how HR laws impact them as a small or growing nonprofit.
  • Gain awareness of the HR laws to be most aware of as a small or growing nonprofit.
  • Learn how to do an HR Gap Analysis to ensure legal compliance.

Please note that a recording of this webinar will be sent to registrants after the event.

About the Presenter

Christine Frazer, HR Strategist, Christine Frazer HR Strategist

Christine is a human resources strategist, author, public speaker, and consultant.  Breaking down the barriers of human resources has become Christine’s mission.  She isn’t afraid to have the hard conversations, engage in taboo topics, say it as it is when talking with her clients, or speak in front of crowds.  Her unique approach to HR, people, and use of humor to convey complicated concepts in a digestible way is what has kept her in this intense career for over three decades.
