The board you have is the board you build! In this session, we will explore fundamental board concepts to help you build a self-governing board and to be a gold-star board member! If you are interested in strategies for recruiting engaged and informed board members and exploring how to develop your board’s capacity, don’t miss this session!
We want to help you think creatively about developing your leadership pipeline. You will leave with practical tools that you can adapt and apply to your organization and sustain your board over the long haul.

About the Presenter
Kim Ryals, Principal, Cause Oregon Kim Ryals is Owner and Principal of Cause Oregon. She has over twenty-five years’ experience in organization development and executive nonprofit management, as well as a cadre of talented associates passionate about Oregon's health and future. Traveling a lifelong road of assisting people with their passions, Kim has a track record of state, regional and national mission-based accomplishments with staying power. She holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources (with emphasis on human dimensions) from Utah State University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management (emphasis on organization development) from Duke University. |
