Webinar Description

Title
Does Your Board Keep You Up At Night?

Presenter
Meredith Emmett, Founder and President,Third Space Studio
Heather Yandow, Associate,Third Space Studio

Executive directors sit in a unique position of authority and leadership, directing a staff while also answering to a board of directors. Effective executives learn to see their board as partner rather than boss. They also engage and mobilize their board to do high-priority work that benefits the organization.

Join NAO, the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, and Third Space Studio for this webinar to explore some of the habits and mindsets that executive directors can use to create a strong sense of shared leadership with the board.

This webinar will be recorded and sent to all regsitrants after the session.

Area of Nonprofit Excellence - Governance

Every learning opportunity NAO offers is aligned with one of nine areas of our Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence that NAO believes are critical to every nonprofit’s effectiveness and success. Diversity, equity and inclusion are essential for a thriving, effective and successful nonprofit; therefore, DE&I is embedded across all nine areas.

This event focuses on Governance. For additional resources in this category, visit: Governance
