Equal Pay laws are becoming more common across the U.S. and make compensation an even more complex area to navigate. This session will educate you on the equal pay laws that impact your workplace, your obligations under the law, provide practical guidance on your next steps to ensure compliance and look at what other organizations are doing to ensure equal pay.

You’ll learn about:

  • Oregon’s Equal Pay Law, including recent amendments
  • Necessary steps for compliance
  • Different approaches for ensuring competitive and equitable compensation

About the Presenter

Lindsay Hill, Director of Compensation Services, Cascade Employers Association 

As the Director of Compensation Services, Lindsay provides professional level compensation support with a focus on understanding business needs to develop and implement comprehensive compensation solutions. Her experience with compensation in a variety of industries enables her to effectively tailor compensation strategies to specific employer needs.

Lindsay earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business - Human Resources Management from Portland State University. She holds a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification and a Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification from WorldatWork.
