Participants will learn how opinion research has changed, how projects should be designed and administered, and how opinion research can support their work in building stronger communities.
For accommodation requests, please contact us at training@nonprofitoregon.org. Advanced notice of at least 10 days is appreciated.
About the Presenters and Host
Presenter Adam co-founded DHM Research and conducted opinion research - both quantitative and qualitative - across Oregon for over 40 years, including designing and administering the 1992, 2002, and 2013 Oregon Values and Beliefs studies. His experiences, particularly with the Oregon Values and Beliefs studies, and his frustrations with traditional opinion research motivated him to create the Oregon Values and Beliefs Center as a lasting benefit to Oregonians. |

Presenter Amaury has worked in the nonprofit sector providing direct service and managing programs serving vulnerable populations in a variety of settings, including early childhood education, the healthcare system, and domestic violence services. Her education in psychology and social work gave her an appreciation for data as a powerful tool, but a tool that should be used with care, which is why she joined the Oregon Values and Beliefs Center. |
