As we all grapple with a changing financial landscape, it can feel tempting to put planned giving on the backburner. When the need for funding is immediate, we instead focus on fundraising activities that we believe will generate more immediate revenue. However, “Planned Giving” and “Quick Giving" don't have to be mutually exclusive!

Join Grady to explore planned giving strategies that pay off in the short-term including:

• Donor Advised Funds
• Qualified Charitable Distributions
• Strategies to maximize the impact of Bequest Expectancies

About the Presenter

Grady Goodall, Director of Development, OSU's College of Liberal Arts Grady Goodall serves as Director of Development for OSU's College of Liberal Arts where he leads the college's fundraising, engagement, and alumni programs. In addition to his work in fundraising, Grady is an attorney who has worked exclusively in the Oregon education and nonprofit sectors. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Oregon Nonprofit Organizations Law Section and a former member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Nonprofit Stewardship, the Lane Arts Council Board of Directors, and the Eastern Oregon Regional Arts Council. He is a frequent presenter on philanthropy and nonprofit management topics.
