Event Description

Title
Adding the “Fun Factor” to Your Fundraising Plan

Presenters

When we think of fundraising, we may not remember that the first part of the word is fun. How can we add this dimension to the important work of bringing financial support and resources to our organizations? What can we do to embed creative strategies, frameworks, and practices into fundraising, making it more effective and more engaging for our teams and donors? How can we build our resiliency as professionals by focusing on making our work more enjoyable and creative? Join two fundraising professionals as we talk about these topics, play a few games together, and put the fun back into our work. (We will even have game prizes. Yes, this is worth leaving your office to attend so you can connect with colleagues, laugh a little, and rejuvenate!)

In this interactive session, participants will:

  • Learn and practice skills to make fundraising effective and engaging in three areas: grant writing, donor campaigns, and events
  • Identify how to put the “fun factor” into all areas of fundraising and create plans with next steps to take back to their organizations
  • Engage with other nonprofit professionals in a fun and active setting, building their own resiliency and creating greater connections with others in the community

For accommodation requests, please contact us at training@nonprofitoregon.org. Advanced notice of at least 10 days is appreciated.
