Dates
Three Monthly Sessions via Zoom
Tuesdays - October 11, November 8, and December 6
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. (PT)
Event Description
Title
Growing a Culture of Care
Presenter
Emily Squires, Facilitator, Artist, and Strategist, Reimagine Everything
How do we create, grow and strengthen an internal organizational culture of genuine care and support? How does a shifting remote-hybrid-real-life work environment impact our team dynamics? How do we care for each other in a way that recognizes internal power dynamics and manages limitations, all the while navigating problems like scarcity, urgency, and organizational flux? How do we pay attention to our relationships with each other, respecting different boundaries and responsibilities, and collectively develop strategies that allow us to thrive?
This three-part series will ask you to reflect on and share your current organizational practices and experiences. Together, we will workshop practical skills including practices for group gatherings (October), deep listening (November), and Employee Resource Groups/affinity spaces (December). Participants will leave each session with practical tips to try and specific resources for ongoing learning and practice.
Automatic closed captioning via Zoom is turned on by default for all NAO virtual sessions. For other accommodation requests, please contact us at training@nonprofitoregon.org. Advanced notice of at least 10 days is appreciated.
