Nonprofit Leaders Panel: Building Community through “Win-Win” Partnerships with Corporations & Local Businesses

Jim White, Executive Director, NAO

As nonprofits work to diversify their revenue, corporate sponsorships can feel like a tough game to break into. Especially as businesses of all sizes continue to recover from the financial effects of the pandemic, there is uncertainty about what kinds of partnerships make sense and how best to build them. From raffle donations and event sponsorships to capital campaigns and naming rights, there are so many options to engage businesses of all sizes in your work.

Join us for this interactive panel discussion with local nonprofits and businesses as they share their insight about building strong partnerships between the nonprofit and for-profit sectors.

For accommodation requests, please contact us at [email protected]. Advanced notice of at least 10 days is appreciated.

About the Panelists

Eliescha P. Stone, VP, Retail Hub Manager, First Interstate Bank

I was born and raised in Bend have a wonderful family, my husband Jeff and our two kids, Jarrett and Jerzi.

I have been with First Interstate Bank for 23 years, where I have held various roles within the bank ranging from Teller to Branch Manager and finally my current role as a Retail Hub Manager. I oversee our six retail branches in the Bend and Sunriver Market. Within my current role I build client and community relationships and work to develop and grow our retail banking teams, ensuring production goals and customer service expectations are being met.

I am very involved in the community with volunteering for several nonprofit organizations and currently sit on Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity’s Homeowner Selections Committee. Additionally, I am a member of our local First Interstate Bank Commitment to Community Committee. In this committee we review all sponsorship, donation, and volunteer requests from all organizations in the Central Oregon and South County areas.
