About the Presenters

Facilitator
Adrienne Graham, Senior Consultant, Nonprofit Association of Oregon

Adrienne Graham is a Senior Consultant for Central Oregon at the Nonprofit Association of Oregon. Based in Sisters, Adrienne has worked with nonprofits for over 12 years as a nonprofit executive director and 20+ years of providing training, consulting and facilitation to the public and private sectors. Prior to joining NAO, Adrienne owned Leapfrog Training & Facilitation, a consulting firm that provided strategic planning, leadership development and organizational effectiveness services to nonprofits, community groups and associations, including NAO. Prior to launching Leapfrog, Adrienne designed and delivered community leadership and organizational development programs for The Ford Family Foundation’s Community Program. Adrienne is a BoardSource-trained facilitator in NonProfit Board Assessment and Development, is certified in Appreciative Inquiry (AI), a certified facilitator for the national Points of Light Foundation Youth Leadership Institute and is a facilitator-trainer for Study Circles.

Panelist
Keavy Cook, Director - Children, Youth & Families, The Ford Family Foundation

Keavy Cook joined The Ford Family Foundation in 2008 and now leads the Children, Youth and Families department. As director, Keavy helps to oversee the development of departmental strategies and budgets, in cooperation with other departments. Keavy also maintains a portfolio of grants with a focus on child abuse prevention and children’s health access. 

Before coming to the Foundation, Keavy worked with the University of Oregon’s RARE (Resource Assistance for Rural Environments) Program. RARE places trained graduate-level students in rural communities for a year where they work on community-based service learning projects. At RARE she assisted in hiring, placing, training and supervising RARE participants. Her work took her to rural communities across Oregon.

Keavy earned a master’s degree in community and regional planning from the University of Oregon with a concentration in not-for-profit management.

Prior to relocating to Oregon, she worked as a consultant and full-time grant writer for a Boston-based nonprofit, The Food Project. The organization focuses on youth and community development using sustainable agriculture as its medium.

When not at work, Keavy enjoys exploring the beauty of Oregon with her husband and three children.

Levi WIlliamsAssociate Program Officer, The Ford Family Foundation

As an associate program officer, Levi Williams is part of a close-knit team. He assists with the Foundation’s strategies to support strong families and healthy children. He works with Foundation grant-seekers and other organizational partners from rural Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif. Levi also conducts site visits of grant-seekers and advises grantees.

Prior to joining the Foundation in 2018, Levi worked for Kellogg Springs Camp in Douglas County. He grew the camp, managed staff and supported a board of directors from across the Pacific Northwest. 

Williams has a bachelor's degree in education from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. He grew up in Loveland, Colorado.

Candy Solovjovs, Director of Programs, Meyer Memorial Trust

Candy Solovjovs is Director of Programs and an executive team member at the Meyer Memorial Trust.

Candy joined Meyer in 2007 and leads programmatic strategy to cultivate a flourishing and equitable Oregon. She oversees grantmaking, program related investments, special initiatives and partnerships, convening and other activities to further Meyer’s priorities: equitable education, housing opportunities, a healthy environment and vibrant and inclusive communities. Under her leadership, Meyer’s programs have increased support for operating funds, advocacy, systems change and innovations to make life in Oregon better for all of our residents.

For over 25 years, Candy has worked to further safety, self-determination and opportunity for Oregonians, serving in both the nonprofit and public sectors. Her path has included higher education administration at Portland Community College where she focused on increasing access, persistence and completion among low-income and first generation college students, students of color, and low-wage and dislocated workers. She has served as executive director of a nonprofit driving systems change and response to child abuse and neglect, co-founded a statewide network of child abuse intervention centers and provided a variety of direct services to support children and families. She has also worked as a consultant and trainer to nonprofit and public organizations.

Born and raised just across the Oregon border in southern Idaho farm country and with family in Oregon, the Pacific Northwest and rural communities have a special place in Candy’s heart. She holds a baccalaureate in human services from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in public administration from Lewis and Clark College.

Cheryl Puddy, Program Officer, Central and Eastern Oregon, Oregon Community Foundation

Cheryl Puddy is Regional Coordinator and Associate Program Officer of Grants & Programs for the Oregon Community Foundation in Central and Eastern Oregon. She works with community leaders, nonprofits, their boards and volunteers to share OCF funding priorities and grant opportunities. Collaborating with OCF staff across the state, Cheryl works to convene regional partners around programs such as Central Oregon Latino Partnership, Community 101 Youth Philanthropy, in addition to Education and Arts & Cultural programs. Cheryl and her team of volunteer grant evaluators and scholarship readers help assure that Central and Eastern Oregon benefit from OCF’s statewide reach. Her history in Central Oregon and experience in the nonprofit sector provides a strong base in building relationships among a variety of individuals and organizations. Cheryl graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Education, returning to Bend and establishing several businesses’ while raising her family and enjoying all the outdoor offerings of the high desert.

Carlos Salcedo, Manager of Community Partnerships, St. Charles Health System

Carlos Salcedo is the Community Partnerships Manager with St. Charles Health System. St. Charles Health System has four hospitals in the Central Oregon region and recently opened a clinic in La Pine.
