Title
Moving Icebergs: Leading People to Lasting Change
Presenter
Steve Patty, Principal Consultant, Dialogues in Action
For many leaders, there is so much to do, so much pulling on our attention all the time. At some time or another, most of us feel overwhelmed by the needs around us. How do you know what to focus on? How do you decide what to give your attention to? How can you tell what kinds of strategies will have the most impact? How can you and those around you stay connected to the meaning of your nonprofit mission? This takes focus. This takes the ability to gather, energize, and mobilize people with focused intention. In this session we will use a model called the Dialogue Boxes to create and clarify a sense of aim, method, and motive for your nonprofit team.
Every learning opportunity NAO offers is aligned with one of nine areas of our Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence that NAO believes are critical to every nonprofit’s effectiveness and success. Diversity, equity and inclusion are essential for a thriving, effective and successful nonprofit; therefore, DE&I is embedded across all nine areas. This event focuses on Program Management & Effectiveness. For additional resources in this category, visit: Program Management & Effectiveness. |
