Event Description

Title
Creating An Annual Fundraising Plan (That You Can Actually Stick To!)

Presenter
Sarah Spangler, Nonprofit Education Specialist, NAO

When it comes to fundraising, it can feel like we’re simultaneously overwhelmed with tasks, and yet, still not doing enough. With a bit of planning, you can streamline your fundraising efforts, ensuring that the most important activities are happening, in the right order, and on schedule! In this interactive virtual workshop, we’ll provide you with the tools to build an efficient, effective, and realistic annual fundraising calendar. Planning quarter by quarter, you’ll be able to plan a year’s worth of fundraising that features effective solicitation, heartfelt donor stewardship, and meaningful relationship development.

This webinar is part of NAO’s Springboard Series – a cluster of trainings designed for rural nonprofits. This session is applicable to both board and staff, particularly those who liaise with boards.

Note: We encourage Board Bright: Engaging Your Board in Fundraising as a prerequisite, though it is not required.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the importance of building a healthy cultivation and stewardship plan
  • Outline the basic components of donor relations
  • Learn how to develop a quarterly/annual fundraising plan for your organization

Automatic closed captioning via Zoom is turned on by default for all NAO virtual sessions. For other accommodation requests, please contact us at [email protected]. Advanced notice of at least 10 days is appreciated

This workshop will be recorded, and a copy of the recording will be made available to all registered attendees.
