Event Description

Title
Organizational Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Why Do It? Where to Start? Are You Ready?

Presenter
Cliff Jones, Senior Consultant, Nonprofit Association of Oregon

Are you considering or have you already started a diversity, equity or inclusion initiative with-in your organization? How might you think about this in ways that situate your organization for maximum success and impact? What are things to avoid that might lead to confusion, wasted time and resources and diversity, equity and inclusion gridlock?

This session of the Equity and Inclusion Leaders Network will explore identifying strategic paths for entry in starting or continuing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives!

What are your individual and organizational rationales for working on diversity, equity and inclusion? What are your individual and organizational self-interests? How are diversity, equity and inclusion a part of your nonprofits mission, business case, outcomes, and business model.

Is there shared analysis and understanding within your team and organization regarding the rationales for doing this work? Are you prepared to participate in and if need be champion and lead building a shared organizational vision regarding working for diversity, equity and inclusion?

Are you and your organization ready? Where is the best place to begin the work to achieve the most powerful outcomes and momentum forward?

Join us on April 12th to explore these questions and identify strategies for moving forward!
