Nonprofit Accounting for Non-Accountants: Why Does the Balance Sheet Balance, and Why Should I Care?

During this training, participants will develop the skills and confidence to interpret the financial information contained in their organizations' financial records. We will review how to use the information in these reports to make sound financial decisions and manage an organization's finances. This is also a great opportunity for participants to become more familiar with key terms used in accounting, bookkeeping and financial management.

Abby Farber is a financial and operations consultant with 35 years of experience in nonprofit and government sectors. She has extensive knowledge of budget creation and management, financial reporting, accounting software, audit oversight and management, banking and cash management, internal audit, and fiscal policies and procedures.
