Event Description

How to Build a Robust Fundraising Program

Sarai Johnson, Founder and Principal, Lean Nonprofit, LLC

There are as many approaches to fundraising as there are nonprofits. So, it makes sense to build a fundraising strategy that builds on your existing strengths and capacity so you can get the results you need.

During this training, you will learn how to build a fundraising program that will allow you to use your existing staff, board, and volunteers to raise more money without necessarily overhauling your entire operation to accommodate new fundraising strategies. Instead, you will learn to build them into your current workflow and scale as you go.

After this training you will:

  • Understand the difference between a fundraising program and a fundraising plan (and why you need both)
  • Know how to integrate the four primary fundraising strategies and phase them for your fund diversification efforts - and where your organization can start
  • Be able to develop end to end processes for your fundraising program
  • Be able to integrate new fundraising activities into your existing workflow
