Event Description

Building a Healthy Development-Minded Board

Ron Frey, President, Frey Resource Group

What does a healthy board look like and how does it function effectively? What kind of board does your organization need at each stage of growth? How can your board work effectively in donor development and fundraising? What is the stewardship role of your board? These are some of the questions that board members often ask about their involvement in a nonprofit.

This workshop provides board members with clarity about their purpose, their stewardship role, the type of members needed and the board behaviors that will make for a successful board team. We will look in-depth at the donor development and fundraising function and address the barriers to achieving greater fundraising success.
