In this session, community banking expert Chris Barron will cover everything your nonprofit needs to know about banking in the digital age. From what tools are available to help you manage your day-to-day operation/cash flow, how to protect yourself and your organization from potential fraud, to general knowledge of how the industry has changed over the years. Whether your organization is just starting or you’re a seasoned nonprofit professional, there’s something for everyone in this session.

About the Presenter

Chris Barron, Relationship Manager, Summit Bank

Chris Barron is a self-motivated, reliable leader with a knack for critical thinking and problem solving. With 10 years' banking experience, Barron is well-versed in operations, treasury management, and business client advising. In his role at Summit, he oversees the deposit operations, treasury management, and overall client experience for the Portland Metro Market. Chris is a strong believer that banking is a “service first” industry, and takes a servant leadership approach with his clients and colleagues. Outside of work, he currently serves on the Finance Committee for the Washington County Chamber, the YMCA’s Steering Committee, and is the Vice-Chair to the City of North Plains’ Economic Development Committee.
