St. Charles Medical Center 2500 NE Neff Road
Conference Room A
Bend

About this event

Cliff Jones
Senior Consultant
Nonprofit Association of Oregon

Presentation & Continental Breakfast at 8:00
Networking at 9:30

This interactive session will help you find, hire, and inspire the right staff and volunteers for your organization. Nonprofits often fall into the “we can’t afford that person” trap, but a better question may be “can we afford to not hire the right person?”

Cliff Jones, Senior Consultant for the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, will help you take a step back and look at the big picture for the future of your team. He will show you how to get creative in securing the right person, help you understand the role of supervision in team development, and explain how to foster and develop leadership in current staff and volunteers.

Learn strategies for:

  • Determining the kind of staff and volunteers your organization needs now and for future success
  • Figuring out the appropriate investment necessary to meet your strategic goals
  • Inspiring staff and volunteers, and handling the challenges you will face
