Kerry Tymchuk, Oregon Historical Society Executive Director, will present
“Stories from Oregon History” on Friday, February 6, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Doors open at 11 a.m. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program
from noon to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Multnomah Athletic Club,
1849 SW Salmon Street, 97205. The event is sponsored by the Association of
Fundraising Professionals Oregon & Southwest Washington Chapter.

Tymchuk will share some of the most treasured artifacts and fascinating
stories from Oregon’s remarkable history. Tymchuk, who earned a history bachelor’s degree and a law degree from Willamette University, is a native Oregonian who has a distinguished public service career including top aide and advisor to Elizabeth Dole, Bob Dole and Gordon Smith. He assisted the Doles in the writing of four books, and Columbia Sportswear chairperson Gert Boyle and the late Al Reser in writing their autobiographies. He came to the Oregon Historical Society from his position as corporate communications adviser at CFM, Strategic Communication Inc.

The cost for the event is $35 for AFP members, $25 for AFP Young Professional members and $50 for nonmembers and guests. Tables of 8 are available for $350. Pre-registration is required.
