Join us to make the dream of homeownership a reality for deserving families
in Washington County!
We are currently building our newest neighborhood in Beaverton, Allen
Estates, located on SW 124th Ave and SW Sabin Street! Join us on Wednesday,
February 4th from 8:15am – 4:00pm. Half Day opportunities may be available
upon request.
No Experience Necessary! Be assured that we will provide training, tools and
all you need to know in order to do the tasks for the day! Go to our website
at www.habitatwest.org/volunteer-schedule for more information about available shifts and to sign up for a volunteer day, go to our website and register for an event!
What to expect on a build day:
8:15 a.m.- 8:25 a.m. Volunteers sign in by completing a waiver form and name
tag.
8:25 a.m.- 8:45 a.m. Construction Crew Leaders provide a safety talk and
assign tasks for the day.
8:45 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Work on assigned tasks. If you need another task or are
uncomfortable working on the task you were assigned, please talk to the
Construction Crew Leader. Thank you in advance for your patience.
12:00 p.m.- 12:30 p.m. Break for lunch. Volunteers are welcome to go off
site, but please return by 12:30 p.m. in order to stay on schedule.
12:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Return to work on assigned tasks!
2:45 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Clean-up and volunteers are dismissed for the day!

Opportunity Requirements:
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to participate in this
opportunity; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult
chaperone.
