About this event
The 2015 HAPA`EA Cross Cultural Awareness Storyteller Series invites discussion and interaction each month on topics of diversity, bullying, cultural awareness and sensitivity through an open forum that supports learning about cultures in our community and other places. HAPA means crossing cultures in Hawaiian and HAPA`EA is the Bend/Fort Rock local chapter of the Asian Pacific Islander Employee Association of the Forest Service which sponsors the Storyteller Series. You are invited to meet Jerry Cordova of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service of Bend. He is the third generation of a Forest Service family and has worked on the Ochoco National
Forest creating partnerships with local community organizations focusing on diversity and tolerance in the workplace and community. He and his family are very active with the Latino Community Association in Central Oregon.
