ShimmyMob PDX is proud to present B’Angle Bazaar; Hafla & Drumming Circle! A night of music and dance, this event will raise funds & awareness for Bradley Angle (www.bradleyangle.org), which offers shelter and a host of amazing programs to help PDX area women & children (of ALL backgrounds & orientations) recover from abuse. ♥ So let’s band together to raise our hips, hearts, rhythms & spirits for this wonderful charity! Lililili-yiiiiIP!! ^_^

As part of the evening’s festivities, we will be offering performances by
area dancers, as well as a drumming circle open to amateurs & percussion pros
alike! (Local bellydancers interested in participating should contact
Yl’luria WaterSong to donate their time & talent to this great cause. 😀
We welcome performance-ready dancers of ALL shapes, sizes, genders, styles,
backgrounds, genres and levels, and we’d be honored to have you! ♥) And
hand-drummers, just bring your dumbeks, darbukas, djembes & other traditional
percussion instruments w/you on the big day- (May 9th, World Bellydance Day-
and the day before Mother’s Day ;D) to the Marino Adriatic Cafe @ 8pm to join
in the fun! ^_^
Admission is a requested donation of $5+ at the door, but NO ONE WILL BE
TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS. This is an -all inclusive event,- so whether
your pockets are full or empty, whether you’re a dancer/drummer, student or
pro, a supportive donor or just someone who wants to come move & mingle, we
want YOU to come share this wonderful night with us! ^_^ ♥
ALL proceeds will go to Bradley Angle, so be ready to raq the house down
w/your shimmies, rhythms, good spirits and generosity. ^_^ We can’t wait to
