The Tools You Need for Financial Analysis

Ecotrust Conference Center, 2nd Floor 721 NW 9th Avenue
Portland

About this event

Joylyn Ankeney
Senior Manager, Nonprofit Practice
AKT LLP

Join us for an overview of the tools you need for conducting simple and important financial analysis. Together, we’ll review financial statements from a donation-based organization and a fee-based organization. We’ll comb through these documents line-by-line and pull out key ratios that will speak to the important financial changes these organizations are facing in order to learn more to assist your own organization.

In this informative, hands-on session, we will also:

  • Review the fundamental concepts and structure of nonprofit financial statements
  • Identify key indicators of your organization’s financial health through financial analysis
  • Examine tools that can help you uncover and interpret the key financial information
  • Demonstrate how to use key financial information to make decisions that strengthen the financial health of your organization and support effective program delivery
