Presentation & Continental Breakfast at 8:00
Networking at 9:30

Help your Board of Directors recruit and engage new members that have the skills your organization most needs. A diverse Board supports an organization’s success with a wider pool of strategies, thinking, experiences, contacts, and resources. Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment is central to tapping these resources and benefits the entire organization. This network session will not only provide an overview of Board welcoming and inclusion, but will also suggest specific steps and strategies for building an open Board culture where greater diversity can take root.

Learn to:

  • Connect greater Board diversity to greater organizational diversity
  • Identify what cultural practices within your Board may be exclusive
  • Strengthen the Board’s skills in practicing inclusiveness
  • Identify areas of diversity most needed and prospective Board members that bring that diversity
  • About the Presenter
