What is the worst thing that can possibly happen at your organization or in your volunteer management program? Are you ready if it does? Join Heidi Henry, Banner Nonprofits and Tammy Baumann, Baumann Training for MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, an interactive workshop exploring the world of risk management.
In this 3 hour workshop, we will examine the fundamental concept of risk management and look at what is really at risk in any organization or program.
Together we will evaluate our own organizations and programs, develop strategies for controlling risk, and learn how to develop a plan for risk.
This mission, if you choose to accept it, will better prepare you and your
organization for that worst case scenario.
Learning Objectives: After completing this 3 hour workshop and receiving the
handouts, participants will be able to:
1) Recognize what kinds of risk can occur in an organization
2) Name the steps in an effective risk management system
3) Evaluate and prioritize degrees of risk
4) Address and control risk with preventive strategies and techniques
5) Develop a risk management plan for at least one risk in your organization
or program
6) List several risk management resources
