“Interpreting the Spirituality of Philanthropy” will be presented on Friday, June 5, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Doors open at 11 a.m. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program from noon to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 SW Salmon Street, Portland, OR 97205. The event is sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Oregon & Southwest Washington Chapter.

Panelists will be Julie Diamond, Executive Director of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation; Cindy Breilh, Medical Teams International’s Director of Advancement for the Pacific Northwest and Al Zimmerman, former Executive Director or the Northwest Christian Community Foundation. They will discuss how interpreting the spirituality of philanthropy from both a donating and asking point of view, can help fundraisers connect to donors on a deeper level that is more meaningful to them.

The cost for the event is $35 for AFP members, $25 for AFP Young Professional members and $50 for nonmembers and guests. Tables of 8 are available for $350. Pre-registration is required.
