Troutdale Historical Society’s grand opening of a new exhibit to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Historic Columbia River Highway – called King of Roads ~ Byway of the People. Includes historic photos, maps, videos, view-master reels, and artifacts. Souvenir books, maps, and photos will be available for sale.

Interactive games for children to learn about the history of who built the highway, who saved it, and who has been restoring it to its original glory. The highway is a National Historic Landmark, a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, and the first two-lane paved road in Multnomah County.

Designed for all ages – families and groups are welcome!
