“Women in Philanthropy Today” will be presented by the Association of
Fundraising Professionals Oregon & Southwest Washington Chapter (“AFP”)
on Friday, October 2. 11 a.m. – Noon: Networking. Lunch will begin at 11:30
a.m., followed by the program from noon to 1 p.m. The event will be held at
the Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 SW Salmon Street in downtown Portland.

Amy Brown, CFRE, Senior Consultant of Collins Group, a Division of Campbell &
Company, will moderate a panel discussion about the influential and growing
role of women in philanthropy. Panelists will include Emily Evans, Executive
Director of the newly formed Women’s Foundation of Oregon; Kris Anderson,
co-author of State of Giving: Stories of Oregon Volunteers, Donors, and
Nonprofits (OSU Press 2015); Amy Kari, writer and consultant; and Ann Edlen,
member of the Executive Committee of the Oregon Health & Science University
Foundation Board.

The cost for the event is $35 for AFP members and $50 for nonmembers and
guests. Tables for 8 are available for $300. Tables for 6 are available for
