About this event

This event is provided by State of Giving: Stories of Oregon
Volunteers, Donors, and Nonprofits

Join Greg Chaillé, former president of the Oregon Community Foundation, and Kristin Anderson, nonprofit consultant, for the Pendleton launch of their new book, “State of Giving: Stories of Oregon Volunteers, Donors, and Nonprofits.” A short presentation on the book will be followed by a panel discussion featuring prominent nonprofit leaders, including Bobbie Conner, director of the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute (other panelists will be confirmed at the above website). Panel topics will range from varied nonprofit sectors needs and innovations to pathways for getting more engaged in your community. Members of the public are encouraged to attend to learn more about these organizations and the importance of civic engagement, and regional nonprofits should find this a valuable networking, collaboration, and engagement opportunity with cultivation potential. Please bring your own lunch; coffee and cookies will be provided.
