In our increasingly data-driven world, nonprofits need more than ever to be able to measure and monitor the effectiveness of their programs. It’s difficult to improve program services or reach without first measuring current effectiveness. How many meals served at a soup kitchen, the number of students in a mentoring program who graduate from high school, the percent of the target population without access to affordable housing—number like these can help organizations identify the areas where they can improve their programs.
Through participation in this course, you will:
- Learn how to ask the right questions of your data.
- Explore the many places where data can live.
- Understand various analysis techniques and tools.
- Evaluate multiple strategies for presenting your data.
- Dive into case studies of real organizations using data to make decisions.
Participants will also be given weekly “homework” assignments. Registration includes an invitation to join the live broadcast for each webinar, as well as a recorded version that participants can view at their convenience.
