Do you struggle to find the time to plan, or are you looking for new, efficient ways to refresh your planning efforts? Here is an opportunity to dedicate a day to planning—complete with inspiration, ideas, tools, and sample plans. Utilizing group discussion and a take-home tool kit, The Collins Group will leave you refreshed and ready to find the resources your organization needs.

Explore:

  • How to align the fundraising plan with your organization’s goals by developing your case for support
  • Key elements of a fundraising plan—whether it’s your first or 50th
  • Staff and volunteer roles in developing and implementing your plan
  • Strategies for getting it all done, especially for smaller fundraising shops
  • How to evaluate, track, and report your progress to others

Workshop Preparation

Bring along any tools you currently use for fundraising planning or for reporting on fundraising progress to your Board. This may include a list of programs/items you are raising money for and how much is needed for each, a list of donor constituencies and prospects, giving history or gift rating for top 20 donors, a donor moves management tool, a calendar of fundraising activities (events, mailings, grant proposals, etc.), a budget that shows income and expenses for your fundraising program, staff and volunteer organizational charts, fundraising dashboard, etc.
