About this event
This event is provided by Lane Arts Council
Artists put a great deal of care into the creation of their work. Capturing good quality photographs to represent and archive their work is both important and challenging.
In this hands on workshop, participants will learn fundamental principles of digital photography in order to improve their own process for making photographs of their work. Topics covered will include, white balance, color temperature, exposure and composition. Focus will be on 2D art work, though much of the content will be equally valuable for 3D works.
Participants should bring their own digital camera and optionally bring their camera’s user manual, one piece of artwork, a tripod, digital card reader and a laptop computer. If possible, identify the white balance controls on the camera ahead of time using the camera’s User Manual. Participants may also submit up to three digital images ahead of time to be reviewed during the workshop, by e-mailing REGISTRATION LINK
