Continental Breakfast and Networking at 8:00
Presentation at 8:30
NAO is partnering with the Washington County Nonprofit Network to kick off the series with this special funders breakfast held in Hillsboro.
We’ll begin the session with a brief summary of findings from The Oregon Nonprofit Sector Report (ONSR)—a comprehensive report that examines the sector as a whole—including a description of its size and scope, the current condition of nonprofits and clues about their economic and social relevance, and social impact of the nonprofit sector in Oregon.
Then we’ll join local grantmakers for a dynamic conversation to explore effective grant strategies. We’ll take a look at the increasing needs of our community and explore ways we can work together to address these needs through grant stewardship. You will gain a deeper understanding of the latest trends in foundation giving and learn about:
- Application strategies in this competitive grant seeking climate
- Changing foundation and corporation philanthropic priorities
- Project and organizational factors that most influence grant decisions
