Professionals will be presented by professional fundraiser Sarah Panetta on
Friday, April 8, Networking and lunch, 11 a.m. – Noon. Program, Noon to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 SW Salmon Street, Portland, OR 97205. The event is sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Oregon & Southwest Washington Chapter.
Sarah Panetta will discuss the high turnover in fundraising positions including what to do when presented with a resignation letter from a member of the fundraising team and what to do before the search process begins. Panetta has more than 25 years of experience as a fundraiser including identifying, hiring, developing and retaining dozens of staff members working in every aspect of fundraising and advancement services
Panetta has been the owner and principal of S. Z. Panetta & Associates since 2013. Her consulting work focuses on building non-profit organizational capacity through strategic planning, staff recruitment and fundraising consulting. She is also executive director of Children’s Healing Art Project (CHAP).
The cost for the event is $35 for AFP, WVDO and NWPGRT members, $25 for AFP Young Professional members and $50 for nonmembers and guests. Tables of 8 are
