About this event
This event is provided by YWCA of Greater Portland
This workshop will explore the impact of domestic violence (DV) on children and teens. We will examine the emotional, behavioral, and psychological effects of domestic violence in the lives of young people, as well as how youth often cope or deal with this trauma. Furthermore, we will look at what
it means to be a youth advocate, critically investigating adult privilege (adultism) in particular.
