Transformations in Philanthropy: What Does the Future Hold? will be presented by a blue-ribbon panel of foundation and philanthropy leaders on Friday,
August 12, Networking and lunch, 11 a.m. – Noon. Program, Noon to 1 p.m.
The event will be held at the Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 SW Salmon Street, Portland, OR 97205. The event is sponsored by the Association of Fundraising
Professionals Oregon & Southwest Washington Chapter.

Speakers will be Cynthia Addams, Chief Executive Officer of The Collins
Foundation; Candy Solovjovs, Director of Programs at Meyer Memorial Trust;
Bob Speltz, Senior Director of Public Affairs for Standard Insurance Company;
and Max Williams, President and CEO of The Oregon Community Foundation. Kris
Anderson, Executive Director of the Portland Clinic Foundation will moderate
the discussion.

The panel will explore the philanthropic horizon, sharing perspectives on
recent shifts and emerging trends in giving philosophy and strategy. Topics
to be addressed include funding advocacy and activism, grantmakers’
increasing emphasis on social equity, social impact investing, recent
upheavals in arts & cultural funding and the evolution of corporate
philanthropy.

The cost for the event is $35 for AFP and NWPGRT members, $25 for AFP Young
Professional members and $50 for nonmembers and guests. Tables of 8 are
available for $350. Pre-registration is required. Online registration is
