What: LifeWorks NW presents Portland’s Original Iron Chef fundraising
event. Nine of the region’s top chefs will compete head-to-head preparing
hearty signature appetizers for an intimate crowd of 350. The chefs will vie
for top honors in a popular vote by the attendees.
When: Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 – 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Where: Portland Art Museum – Kridel Ballroom
Who: General public is invited to help fight child abuse and neglect by
attending a fundraising event to benefit LifeWorks NW’s four Children’s
Relief Nurseries – located across the metro area.
Why: Every eight minutes there is a report of child abuse or neglect across
Oregon. Through LifeWorks NW’s signature event: “Portland’s Original
Iron Chef,” it brings to light the issue of child abuse and neglect and
raises funds needed to continue its work to ensure healthy children and
families across our region.
