About this event

This event is provided by SAGE

What is a citizen? How has citizenship changed over time? What
responsibilities do citizens have in times of crisis — such as war,
economic downturn, or environmental degradation? Are there special
obligations for citizens to be politically engaged?

Join us for a discussion on citizenship, crisis, and the relationship between
the two. We’ll explore the rights, obligations, and changing definitions
of citizenship with reference to today’s challenges, long-term patterns,
and the role older adults play in promoting political engagement.
