Social Media is everywhere these days, but can it really benefit your
volunteer program? (Spoiler alert: Yes, it can!) Liza Dyer will share
information on how you can leverage the power of social media to recruit new
volunteers and engage your current volunteers online. This session will
include an overview of social media platforms and best practices. If you’re
already engaging volunteers online, bring your experiences and ideas to share
with others!

Speaker bio: Liza J Dyer, CVA, has been working and volunteering in the
nonprofit and public sectors for 15+ years. She is currently a Program
Coordinator in Volunteer Services at Multnomah County Library, a public
library system which connects over 1,900 community members to meaningful
volunteer opportunities each year. In the past, Liza worked primarily in
