International fundraising expert Daryl Upsall, FInstF, will discuss how to
convert annual donors to monthly givers for nonprofit organizations to
improve their financial sustainability and strengthen donor involvement over
time. Based in Madrid, Spain as Chief Executive of Daryl Upsall & Associates
SL, he has worked with more than 230 non-profits in 62 countries in the past
33 years.
A pioneer of online/digital fundraising in the early 1990s, Upsall is known
for fundraising leadership and innovation. As the International Fundraising
Director for Greenpeace International in the 1990s, Daryl doubled the
organization’s global net income, raising more than $1 billion. He is also
credited as being one of the creators of the global fundraising phenomenon
known as “face to face fundraising.” Upsall is a Fellow of the UK Institute
of Fundraising (FInstF) and Vice-Chair of AFP’s Center for Fundraising
Innovation, which is responsible for all aspects of AFP education and
professional development.
The cost for the event is $35 for AFP and NWPGRT members, $25 for AFP Young
Professional members and $50 for nonmembers and guests. Tables of 8 are
