About this event
This event is provided by AFP Oregon and SW Washington Chapter
Pitch Perfect: Crafting Your Quick Pitch will be presented on Friday, January
13 at the monthly luncheon sponsored by the Association of Fundraising
Professionals (AFP) Oregon & Southwest Washington Chapter. Networking and
luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by the program from noon
to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 SW
Salmon Street, Portland, OR 97205.
In this interactive workshop, Anna Goren and Amy Brown, CFRE, both of the
Collins Group, a division of Campbell & Company, will help participants
distill the essence of what they do and why they do it into a quick, engaging
pitch. They will help participants explore how their quick pitch translates
into more committed supporters for their organization, and how to adapt their
pitch to different audiences and settings.
Participants are encouraged to come prepared with a pitch in mind, so they
can refine and practice it during the session, and leave with a pitch they
are proud to share everywhere from the grocery store to the board room.
Anna Goren is an Associate Communications Consultant for Collins Group, a

currently volunteers on the Board of the Seattle Globalist, a local
journalism nonprofit dedicated to elevating diverse voices through media.
