Interrupting Hate in Public Spaces
A free community workshop on active bystander intervention

As tensions flare and incidents of public hate skyrocket, join us as we explore what inhibits us from interrupting hate. Learn how to overcome those inhibitions and practice skills for becoming a strong ally for all those targeted in today's hostile climate. Using tools and methodologies proven over decades of use from Training Active Bystanders, we will learn how to build a culture of peace by engaging in active nonviolence.

Interrupting Hate in Public Places is a free community workshop on how to be an ally and do active, nonviolent bystander intervention. Register for your choice of Medford or Ashland session:

Monday, May 8, 5:30-8:30pm — Medford Library, 205 S Central Ave, Medford or
Tuesday, May 9, 5:30-8:30pm — Southern Oregon University, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd, Ashland
(in Stevenson Union, Rogue River Room)

Both venues are accessible. Refreshments will be provided. Please carpool if possible. There is a fee for parking at SOU in Ashland, even in the evening.
