Developing strong volunteer fundraising leadership is an essential step to move your fundraising success from “ho-hum” to transformational. Come learn key best practices for building a high-impact fundraising volunteer
corps. Participants will learn processes and receive tools to help determine how to best recruit, engage and evaluate potential high impact volunteers. They will learn how to maximize volunteer engagement by using individual’s volunteer networks, building in competition to fuel results and direct ‘C’ suite leadership involvement.
Speaker Bio:
Jennifer Fagerstrom, CFRE is a 20-year veteran in the non-profit and fundraising arena. Her current position as Field Director of The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society’s National Office includes oversight of its $40+ million fundraising efforts, patient outreach and program management. She previously worked as the executive director of the Greater San Francisco Chapter, Habitat for Humanity and The Salvation Army, working internationally in several Eastern European countries including Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, and the Republic of Georgia. During her time with the Army, she also served on an international team providing training for fundraisers and marketing staff throughout both Eastern and Western Europe. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), an active member of the Association of fundraising Professionals (AFP), and previously served on the local AFP Board of Directors for more than four years.
