In an informative, entertaining and engaging session, participants will have an opportune to learn how to create and manage a sustainable, scale-able annual development plan for their organization. With practical advice, timely
insight, a discussion of promising practices and the chance for peer to peer learning, this session offers attendees implementable ideas and a little inspiration for the coming year.
Learning Objectives/Outcomes:
• Essentials of sustainable annual fund development including practical ideas and great practices to create a framework for fundraising success
• Understanding of how to evaluate initiatives to discover what could work for an organization related to fund development, including ideas on balancing return on investment with return on engagement
• Strategies for connecting with individuals who can help you advance your vision and mission and how to create a culture of philanthropy amongst staff and board
• A development plan template
• Building a peer network to tap for ideas, advice, and an occasional reality-check
Speaker Bio:
Throughout his almost 20 year career Paul has lead successful development efforts in public health, cultural arts, and education. He regularly helps other not-for-profits develop their own sustainable, scalable fund raising
programs to seek and secure the investment and engagement of donors to make a difference in the community. He is one of only 5,500 individuals worldwide to hold the CFRE credential, awarded in 2000.
