About this event

Are you a nonprofit leader looking for greater direction around growth and sustainability? Not sure what the best strategy is for your fundraising efforts? Curious about what others are thinking or doing?

Planning is key to ensuring that your fundraising strategies are efficient and effective. Nonprofit leaders should be prepared for new opportunities and challenges related to raising money to achieve their goals. In this learning cohort, Laurel McCombs from The Osborne Group will walk you through the key considerations and questions to address when building an actionable development plan for your organization.

We’ll start each session with a brief synopsis of the topic and open it up for discussion and shared insights. We’ll wrap up with a preview of the following week’s topic and things to think about to prepare for a robust conversation. This cohort is most appropriate for Executive Directors and Development Directors from staffed organizations who would benefit from being part of a peer community for support, discussion, and guidance from a fundraising expert.

  • This learning cohort is intended to support Oregon-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits statewide.
  • Limit is 15 individuals per cohort with no more than two representatives from one organization.
  • Participants make a commitment to attend all sessions so we can collectively work together and build a network of support.
  • Conversations will be held as confidential to allow for depth and breadth of exploration.
  • Participants will help guide the sessions and materials to meet their priorities.
