  • Challenges of the current economic environment
  • Attractive gift options
  • Engaging baby boomers and younger donors
  • Stewarding the donor after the gift

Planned giving offers donors tremendous tax advantages and nonprofit organizations great opportunities to receive major gifts. Building your ability to present new and continuing planned giving options in simple language can help your donors translate their desire to support your nonprofit into decisive action.

Join David Westcott, Vice President for Development for The Oregon Community Foundation, for an update on planned giving techniques and proposals. David has used his gift for plain talk about even the most complex planned giving strategies to help OCF surpass the $1 billion in assets threshold. Learn how he helps donors think through their options, including opportunities for generating tax advantaged income streams during retirement, while staying focused on the charitable goals of giving.
