States across the country have been rushing to pass laws that protect the privacy of individuals from unwanted solicitations and security breaches. Some states exempted nonprofits while others included nonprofits. Oregon just passed a new data privacy law that require compliance from nonprofits, especially those with large donor databases of personal data. Learn about Oregon’s new data privacy law and find out what your nonprofit can do to protect personal data.
