About this event
Key findings and trends from the 2014 AFP Philanthropy Trends Survey will be discussed by a panel of local and regional fundraising experts who will reflect on what these trends suggest for successful fundraising in 2014. Topics will include the most effective 2013 fundraising techniques and approaches, lessons learned and status of many capital campaigns. The presentation will be especially useful for board presidents and executive directors as they fine tune 2014 fundraising and capital campaign plans.
Kevin Johnson, owner of Retriever Development Counsel, LLC, will moderate the discussion. He coordinated the study and is author of The Power of Legacy and Planned Gifts (Jossey-Bass/Wiley) on legacy gifts and financial sustainability for nonprofits. The survey included additional questions specific to annual giving and planned giving and will benefit organizations of all sizes.
The cost for the event is $35 for AFP members and $50 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is required. Online registration is available at afporegon.afpnet.org. For additional information about this seminar or the local AFP Chapter, please contact: 503.715.3100 or email: [email protected].
