The program speakers will discuss the two-year, $500 million Phil and Penny Knight Challenge to OHSU and the impact of that challenge on fundraising efforts for other non-profit organizations in our community, its implications
for philanthropy in our region and how nonprofits of all sizes have a stake in the outcome. The conversational program will feature panelists with a range of experience and expertise in development and philanthropy.

Kevin Johnson, Retriever Development Counsel LLC, will facilitate the discussion which will feature panelists Bob Speltz, Director of Public Affairs, The Standard; Dick Withnell, Philanthropist and Community Leader, Oregon Education Community Investment Board; Lisa James, Director of
Development, Portland Japanese Garden; Mason Blacher, fundraising advisor and former director of major gifts at Stanford University; Anthony Petchel, Director of Development, OMSI; Jim White, Executive Director, Nonprofit Association of Oregon and Peter Korn, Portland Tribune.

The cost for the event is $35 for AFP members and $50 for nonmembers. Tables of 8 are available for $350. Pre-registration is required. Online
