About this event

Watercolor, originally a preparatory media used to “try out” compositions and hues for a finished painting in oil on canvas, is now a respected art form in its own right. Catherine Alexander, Bush Barn Art Center Gallery Director, will highlight this historic trajectory while sharing paintings by some of the world’s most well-known watercolorists from past and present eras.
